Saying Hello

Good Afternoon!! My name is Antonia and I am a sexual abuse victim...I don't yet say
survivor because I am still in the healing process. I've been married for almost 5 years to a wonderful man. He has been very supportive but becase of my abuse it has been dificult expressing myself to him. I have been looking for support groups in my area and can't seem to find any. I hope that this forum will help me. I am also in the process of writing a book as part of my "self therapy". If anyone would like to share their story for my book that would be greatly appreciated.

Writing about what happened to you is very healing. I wrote a book and during the process I broke down and cried. I also got some Christian counseling.
I kept my secret for over 25 years. A cousin molested me and after revealing it to my Mom and Dad I felt so much better.
The name of my book is Strength to Speak: One woman's struggle to make peace with her past.
