My thoughts after watching Tyler Perry and all those abused men Empty My thoughts after watching Tyler Perry and all those abused men

I have always felt that more men were abused and the secret created more problems in their lives.
Having counseled many alcoholic and drug abusers, I have heard many confessions. I have talked to many that never had a true love affair.

I received a newsletter after the first airing of Tyler and the man wrote, "...Tyler Perry’s issues-he is a grown a** man-deal with it".

Tyler Perry has gone on with his life, he did not let the abuse keep him from accomplishing all that he has, give him some credit, please.

That is just one of the reasons men have never told anyone, I am so disappointed in his statement.

I, too kept it a secret until my 30's, but even in the telling, I still suffered.

It is an incomprehensible crime against children.

I hope Oprah's show will make it easier for men to get help now.
