To you :
You never knew I suffered beyond your pleasure, that I couldn't close my eyes because I saw you. That while I was a little girl supposed to be playing on the playground I was locked in my head stuck in a fantasy world that was better than reality. For years and years I stayed hidden in plain sight living in your world and mine. This is to you , my mother and my grandmother all of you who told me to live and let die. Who saw me struggle with nightmares, emotions and relationships and just hoped that I would "forget". To you who called me crazy and refused to care for me. This is to you because I need you to know that the dark place you all had led me to allowed god to bring me out. And though I falter each step it is that alone that shows me that I can look in the mirror.
